Combining the asset management and recovery abilities of the STOP Security plate with the ease of a security cable resulted in a great theft deterrent!
  • The STOPLock plate provides a highly visible, prominently displayed warning that your equipment is registered and actively monitored.
  • The STOPLock plate uses VHB adhesive making it extremely difficult to remove.
  • If the plate is removed, a chemically-bonded tattoo will be revealed stating 'Stolen Property' with an 800 number to call. This virtually eliminates the resale value.
  • By registering your plate number on STOP's online registration portal, if someone finds the laptop and calls the 800 number, STOP will coordinate getting your equipment back to you.
  • Wrap the cable around an immovable object then 'snap' the lock into the center hole on the plate. This prevents 'snatch and grab' opportunity theft.
