Phazer Fiberoptic Alarm System
The Phazer Fiberoptic Alarm System was a breakthrough in computer protection in its time. We have since come up with a newer system, the PC Tab Alarm System, which is easier to use and doesn't require permanently attaching anything to your equipment. We will still be supporting the Phazer Fiberoptic Alarm System, however, some parts may require a 4-6 week lead time.

| The PHAZER Fiberoptic Security Alarm System uses
fiberoptics to secure your equipment. The fiber is attached to your
equipment using any of the fasteners shown below. The fiber cable
loops back into the PHAZER unit which emits light pulses through
the fiber. If the fiber is cut or disconnected, the PHAZER unit sends
an alarm to the CENTRAL ALARM PANEL which is programmed to call security
(or a monitoring service). |

OPFX -
OPTICAL FIBER BY FOOT - This light-weight
plastic fiber carries the light-pulse signal from the Phazer. It
is physically attached to the equipment being protected with
fasteners shown below. Fiber is also available in pre-terminated
lengths in 5' increments at no extra charge. The most common
sizes are listed, however you can also purchase an installation
kit (INST) to terminate the fiber to your own custom lengths.
CS01 - FIBEROPTIC CONNECTION SET - Use
of the fiberoptic connection set allows you to have splice points
at several intervals in the fiber to make removing computers
for repair easy. Includes 2 male connectors and 1 double
female connector.
